Islamabad: Awareness Foundation hosted an informative Q&A session for media students and young journalists. Former MNA Shandana Gulzar Khan gave a detailed briefing on violence in journalism in Pakistan.
Former MNA & Leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf also took the opportunity to brief the students. She briefed on the political crisis, fake and fabricated cases against politicians and journalists & the ongoing situation. The young journalists showed interest and engaged in an interactive Q&A session with Shandana Gulzar Khan.
Shandana Gulzar urged the judiciary to take effective measures to stop the increasing violence against journalists in Pakistan. She said that it is important to protect journalists to do their work according to their freedom. Constitution given in the constitution in the answer to a question. Shandana Gulzar was elected to the National Assembly on a reserved seat for women from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. She was elected in the 2018 general elections. She has served as a deputy minister and parliamentary secretary for the Ministry of Commerce.
